Just completed my second run and feeling a little bit pleased with myself, was always rubbish at PE in my school years. So after two years of going to a spin class have finally plucked up the courage to try running!😬

Well done! You've found the best way to start running, and the most encouraging forum to help you along the way
Brillant start and Brillant decision.🌟👏👏
I hated PE! And don’t think I could do spin. But this programme definitely works. Good luck as you work your way through it
Well done Nicola. I have just done my first run in 30 years. Good luck with it and KEEP IT GOING NICOLA

Take it slow and take it steady and enjoy. Keep posting too, for unbelievable support
Thanks for all your supportive comments and advice I loved my first run but found the second one a little harder. Think it may have been because I went with my 13 year old son, who told me he would run to my pace but I’m sure we kept going a little faster at each jog. 😆 Which made my foot and ankle quite sore, may have to look at getting some different trainers.
