All went wrong

Hi all,

Classic mistake! Decided to go for W5r1 this morning, despite being slightly hungover and feeling a bit rubbish after a curry. I’d had to change my running schedule last week, so I decided to run on consecutive days, to get back on track.

Big mistake, my head and my body were not in the right place and the first five minute run was so hard, despite encouragement from Michael Johnson. Anyway, I did it and it did get easier but so glad it’s over.

Two days rest for me before run 2 😥

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Not consecutive days..ever... or at least not until you have a year or so under your belt...after you Graduate!

And after a small drinking session and a curry! Oh goodness... thank goodness you are okay!

Mum lecture over, but seriously.. don't do this again... the IC is not a great place and we have lost too many folk by the wayside because of things like this.

Hi Birdsong53, there’s no pressure to complete this plan by a certain date so it doesn’t matter if your original ‘schedule’ is thrown out because you had a night out! You don’t need to stress about the runs just take an extra day or two of rest if your body needs it. Good luck!

Well birdsong, we live and learn teehee.

You did it so great, but uncomfortable runs can blur the appeal.

Take your time and enjoy the journey 😀🏃🏻
