Thank you so much to everyone who offered me kind support at the news that I’ve had to suspend my running progress due to an eye problem.
I’ve been given a low impact gym program and have been twice so far - it’s very tempting to up the pace on the treadmill though, but I’ve been good, and resisted.....
My blood tests came back clear, so no thyroid problem so I guess that’s a blessing- although a diagnosis to explain all my symptoms would have been a relief.
It makes such a difference when the sun is shining so I take pleasure in that!
I’m still checking in on everyone’s progress, so keep up the running and hopefully, I’ll be back soon! X

Good news that theres no thyroid issue but i get what you mean by needing an answer for you. Im sure you will get sorted and be back out there before you know it.
The sun is shining and a nice gentle stroll may be just nice (if allowed of course)
Glad to see your still feeling positive. You could easily have taken it another way. I know you will overcome all this and get there. It will be a brilliant moment 😀
Im ok but had a real bad one tonight....was supposed to be wk9 r1 but i only managed 15 mins and just couldnt keep going. I was tired i felt heavy and awkward and i ended up walking the rest of the way back to my car in tears (being a silly cow) cos i was so annoyed with myself. I need to repeat and try again. I feel like graduation is slippping away (silly i know). Just a bad day! Put it behind me and move on yeah lol
Oh no! Sounds like a bad one - which I think I most people have from time to time, so it’s just a one off.
Your graduation is just around the corner and will be here before you know it! When you go out next time and ace it, this bad day will be forgotten- so don’t let yourself get disheartened by it, you’ll be amazing next time!
That’s great you have been given a gym programme, at least you will be able to maintain fitness, and I hope you get some answers soon and can get back to running the way you want to x
I feel for you having to stop. I had to stop a year ago due to medical problems. Now they've diagnosed it as migraine. Like others say at least you've got a gym programme - u will keep up your fitness. Fingers crossed for you.
