well, today was the day.. part 2! the first attempt was a shambles! i was way too cocky and ran too fast, after 2 jogs i was nearly sick and had to stop. what an embarrassment! i carried on but walked more than jogged.
Attempt 2: went so much better- i smashed it! all 8 jogs. i got out there, in the public and went jogging! i feel great, honestly!
would love more advice from anyone of how to just keep going!

You do what you did on your second attempt - go steadily, at whatever pace works for you, ignore the rest of the world, and just follow the instructions! Every time you need a boost because it just feels hard, think of the progress you’re making, even from the second week!
Sometimes I feel like my running is slower than my walking breaks. And I used to worry about people looking and thinking " hardly worth running " but now I don't care.
I'm still out there doing it and not sitting on a couch planning to run 'one day'.
Well done!!! I remember doing that as tried not to let neighbours think this was my first jaunt out in my trainers... it was.... but i soon stopped worrying about it and began to find a slow and steady pace so much easier to learn... have a look at other’s posts on here who are a lot more experienced than me( I’m W3) and let their words carry you through your runs... it really works!! 🏃♀️🏃♂️
i’ve read through some posts and the ones like yours, which make me giggle, really mean alot and i can take the advice and add to my ‘plan’- so thank you!
