Advice after Pes anserinus bursitis.

Hello I’m new. I started C25k back in January. In week 3 I suddenly had extreme knee pain which turned out to be Pes anserinus bursitis. I could barely walk for three weeks, it knocked me for six and I was very disappointed. After treatment and rest the pain has gone and I was wondering if anyone has advice about restarting the programme? I’m very nervous it’ll come back. I’ve never ran before in my life. I’m 51.

Many thanks.

Have you tried some good walks and is OK? If it is then try c25k again very slowly...

I see that one of the causes of it is Inadequate warm-up and stretching prior to and following exercise... So make sure you do warmup and stretch properly... All the best!😊
