Running today after the all clear

I’ve been having heart palpitations for the past week and I didn’t run yesterday as I went to the doctor today and I have anxiety and stress due to long term sick but as a result I have lost my job but they have said when I’m fit and strong I will be able to go back if and when there comes a job which they come up every month. So I’m antidepressants and anti anxiety tablets but I’m more determined now. I had my op for tennis elbow in September last year and I’m still off now and as a result I developed CRPS chronic regional pain syndrome not due to the op it’s the way my body has reacted but I’m on the way to recovery it did effect my whole arm my shoulder was capsulated and I had no strength at all my hand was like balloon I also had sensitivity all over my arm I couldn’t grip hold much but I have come along very well my hand is much better but not fixed yet I have to get the strength back and the same for my shoulder it’s a case of physio every day. And I’ve started exercise I’ve been doing exercise bike abs etc and now running but I can only go back when I’ve been discharged from the doctor and my physiotherapists I have 1 for my hand and one for my shoulder. So that’s my story thought it might make me feel better for sharing 😉🏃‍♀️

All sounds very not nice...I hope it all gets righted soon. Seems somewhat complicated. Wonder what the doc says about the palpitations, maybe it’s stress related. Anyway, take it easy, gentle runs...no marathons!! Good luck.

Good for you. Yes good running shoes are important. I’m sure you will find the running makes you feel a whole lot better. Take it slow and steady - we like snail pace best here, oh and smile, it helps a lot ! 🙂🌻

You seem to be doing all the right things to help yourself which is really important. I believe any kind if exercise is great for stress etc. So keep going do what you are and good luck 😊
