What a disaster that was. I planned to do Wk6 Run3 on the treadmill whilst my boys were swimming. Remembered everything except doing the front pocket of my rucksack up, so my headphones fell out somewhere along the road. I’d got on the treadmill all ready to run when I realised this, so went and frantically looked for them but no luck.
Can’t run without Jo guiding me or Genesis to drum to (especially for 25 minutes) so bought some cheap ones at the leisure centre. Plugged them into my phone and nothing happened. They didn’t work. 45 minutes had passed, my two boys were well into their swim by now. So, ok, I take the hint... it’s not going to happen today 😟
I was going to take today as an additional rest day but felt so good last night we arranged this trip with a nice lunch afterwards. The Gods have decided I need a rest rather than a run 🤔😢
Tomorrow I will nail this run. But first I need to find yet another pair of headphones🙄

Aaaaaaaagh. Swear swear swear. It makes you ask him upstairs “what did I do?” 🤷♀️🙄
These things happen! Oh yes! With more than frequent regularity. Drives you bonkers at times as it seems that there is a conspiracy afoot to make us not run. Bah!
I have a theory about Drums! Just like in the old Westerns, when you hear drums you got trouble! 😁
Life has a way of testing us 😊 Disappointing, but tomorrow you'll smash it 🙌 I'm struggling to push myself out the door again today - last night I couldn't wait until today to do W6R3 - now I'm home from work and should be going, the gremlins have kicked in big time! 😫
*sigh* I know. It could be much, much worse. But for you??? Go on, you can do it! Have that buzz for me today and I’ll do it for you tomorrow then we’ll both have it for two days running which will spur us on into Week 7 😀 We’re so nearly there!
