W1R3 - I did it!

Just completed Week 1, so happy. I never thought I could even finish Run 1 let alone all 3! At the age of (almost 59) 58 I'd written myself off re exercise like running. After seeing that many Ladies are even more 'mature' than me I had to do it.

Running for 2mins without stopping will be a challenge next week, but that's ok I'll just do Week 2 twice if necessary.

On a bit of a high at the moment but I'm sure my legs will bring me back down to Earth tomorrow...

Well done Maybe. I too am 58 and haven't run since childhood. Will be starting W3 on Sunday. Definitely not finding this easy but really enjoyable and feel good about myself just doing it. We are definitely not too old!! W2 is 1 and half mins not 2 so you've already lost 30 secs. Good luck, keep posting.

Well done! Great attitude to have. I've "practiced" some runs a couple of times. Really pleased you're enjoying it. Keep going. 👍👍👍

Well done! I started Week 2 today, first run and somehow managed it at the age of nearly 63 so I am sure you will do the same. You will get lots of encouragement from the lovely people posting on here.

58 is not an age we worry about n fact according to my GP who is a very nice lady it is only actually 48 as a maximum.

So those newly gained 10 years will come in handy next week!

Good luck and happy running
