I did not want to go out to begin with, even being out early in the morning it was very hot outside and when the time came to run I really was not feeling up to it.
The first and last five minutes were definitely the hardest. I have noticed that the time between 10-15min is often most enjoyable for me because it is when I personally get past feeling sorry for myself and instead settle into a rhythm that feels comfortable. Before self-pity sets in again at 15-20 minutes, of course!
Anyways, I won't let one difficult run define me. I suppose I did manage to finish the entire 25 minutes, but my word was it a tough one!

I definitely think I suffer from those toxic 10. I'll have a read up and see if there are any good tips and tricks to get through! Thanks, Jay! I hope you are getting on better than me in the heat! X
Well Done be for sticking it out and completing the run 👏. Those hard runs have hit us all and they are TOUGH!! But, on we go, to the next one, and hopefully, for some bizarre and unexplained reason, it will probably be an easier run.
Getting out the door is sometimes the worst bit. Mental attitude has a huge physical effect. If you think you're going to have a hard run you probably will.
