What do you find are good tunes to keep you running. I’ve got amazon music and WiFi at the gym. Looking for recommendations?

I'm no expert but it seems to depend on your running pace. I found a C25K playlist on Spotify when I started and then selected the ones I liked from that. I found Aha Take on Me suited my pace really well and so googled the beats per minute in that song and then searched for other songs with the same Bpm. But generally anything that motivates you to keep moving! Wham's wake me up before you go go keeps me going towards the end!

I have a real mix of music basically made up of songs I like I have chart hits, film soundtracks if I like it I’ve got it I have a few good songs from the 80’s in my playlist

It took me quite a while to realise

Running is not just about the legs it’s also about the mind it’s a perfect time to clear away the cobwebs and I find it easier doing that to music I enjoy listening to

I personally don’t need motivational music as I am finding my pace without it but some people do

I’m with you on this....I run to songs I enjoy and make me smile.

Ministry of Sound: The running bug 2 is my go to album. Avicii - Addicted to you is my favourite song on it. Keeps me going & it always seems to shuffle to that song when I'm flagging & lifts me up.

It's a few years old now but it's a cracking album. Got it on itunes.

I like the podrunner app, it’s free and you can run to whatever bpm you want

check out my lists on Spotify - there’s a variety there, that may suit - most named in honour of C25Kers...

I’m with JulieG49, songs which fit my pace and keep me going are great, Wham’s Wake Me Up Before you Go-go, lots of Blondie ( especially Call Me and Maria) and when you’re Slowing down ( don’t laugh) Walking like an Egyptian ( can’tvremember who that’s by) but anything that makes you smile and matches your pace is great.

I just listen to any songs that are faves and make me feel good. Can be anything from Mumford and Sons: Not With Haste to Imagine Dragons: On Top of the World. I did have to put Sweet: Fox on the Run on my playlist though 😄
