Week 6 Run 2 - a slow and sweaty shuffle!

Warm and very humid morning with not much breeze. Wasn't really keen but had no alternative. Gym shut for Good Friday and if I want to maintain momentum I will be doing R3 on Sunday! So had to go. Had a longer warm up walk but still found the first 5 minutes the hardest. After that no real problems, legs a bit stiff and sore today. When got back home did lots of stretches so hopefully that will help! Thanks to all on week six at present, you are keeping me on track 😘 Happy Easter to everyone 🐰🐣🐤

That was your last run with a walking break ☺ You can see the finish line from here!

Stretching will help... a lot.. and a warm up that is longer helps too. I do dynamic stretching before runs too...

Take these runs very gently, the longer runs are meant to be relaxed and enjoyable... let the running legs, which are still developing find their own happy pace... don't push too hard.

Well done you :)

lol, just home from being out tonight, sitting most of the time. Now feeling crippled and walking like a very, very old lady!
