We are trying hard to cope with a little flurry of illness and injury. After last week's problematic w6r1 which followed my illness, my wife has been suffering with troubling knee discomfort, with some pain if the knee is pushed hard, and has been exercising to help recover. It hasn't sorted itself out completely but has slightly improved with suggested seated exercise. But it is a real conflict - we have come so so far since beginning but have fears overdoing it now could really generate a much more serious injury. Well yesterday we bit the bullet and redid w6r1 (a little slower than before and rerouting to avoid a steep bit) - and very surprisingly afterwards while the discomfort remained it didn't feel any worse, and that remains the case today. So we are about to go off for a walk to give it a bit more exercise but it is looking good for cautious progress...maybe w6r2 on sunday after a 2 day rest...

Avoiding steep bits is definitely recommended😉 Extra rest days at this stage is an investment in yourself, what's one more day now compared to the risk of a serious injury.
