So after a weekend of very long drives (7 hours each way 😣), partying, drinking, eating and dancing, I wasn’t exactly feeling it today. I had planned to do this run at the hotel yesterday, but with so many other wedding guests staying there, I was worried about emerging from the gym looking like a red sweaty blob (althoughh thinking about it, they saw that on the dance floor on Sunday night 😆), so decided to wait until today. I like my sweating to be done in private!

I wasn’t looking forward to this run, partly because of the aforementioned debauchery, partly because I had had three days off, but also because I had heard it was tough. And it was, initially my knees were really painful (because of the dancing), but that wore off. I struggled through the second five minute run, and if it had been another eight minuter I’m not sure I would have completed it, but it’s done so onwards and upwards! Thankyou to everyone who sent their best wishes for the wedding by the way - it was a lovely day, despite the rain, mist and wind in North Wales!

It was beautiful but ridiculously expensive - could have had a honeymoon.....

So pleased all went well with the weekend. Lovely picture and dress. And you conquered the infamous w6r1. No mean feat after all that dancing!

I was wondering what the symbol was for in bottom left until I went to press it(!) and realised it was part of a carved chair/pew☺️. I’ll get my coat...

That's amazing! To fit in all of that organising and still get your running done! Bravo! 😸

I don't understand why but I found W6R2 the toughest in the programme so give it respect and soon you will be joining us on the long format runs😸
