Are you pushing on to 10k now?
Not yet. I want to stick to 30 mins for now and get into a comfortable pattern. Then as the weather improves I'll start exploring further afield ππ
Have you done a Park Run?
No... You've found my Achilles there... It's hard to admit it but I find these group things a tad intimidating. Of course anyone who knows me see an outgoing, confident person who will help or speak to anyone. But once faced with more than half a dozen I get a bit stuck.
I'm trying. Since taking up cycling last year I've been encouraged (pushed and urged) to join in 3 big events. I did a race in Dec and a big group 43k in Jan. I have another one next Sat 50k. I know once there I'll be fine and I'll talk to lots of folk. It's just getting over that internal hurdle.
I'm between two pr sites. Neither that local. I'm not ruling it out but neither am pushing myself towards it.
I'm so pleased to have stuck with the programme and where it has taken me thus far π
My journey has been quite a personal growth period. I'm not sure I'm ready to share it yet... but that could also just be an excuse ππ watch this space π€
