I don't want to say that illness won, but weakness in my body is overwhelming. I am too weak to walk, I get sweaty only by sitting. Throat - bad, head - even worse. Muscle pain...
Damn!
My plan: recovery under duvet during weekend, aspirin, pills for sore throat, VapoRub for nights. Monday morning - run.
I got my wedding dress fitting yesterday, and I need to lose an inch in waist in 5 weeks. No time for illness
Happy running!

Like for the wedding dress - dislike for the illness!! I've been "on a break" recently (multiple beasts) - but thinking of you and your tenacity - will run for you this weekend x
🤒 ➡🏃 soon! I hate that feeling of sweating doing nothing. Plenty of fluid intake in your recovery plan also? Though I am always tempted to make the fluid alcoholic if I have a sore throat 😁. Take care of yourself!
I drink and drink and wee and wee I prefer warm drinks, so no alco when I feel like that.
The wierd and annoying part is the less I can run the more I want to. I feel like my mental state is disturbed by lack of running for so long. I am broken, I actually WANT to wake up at 5 am, just to run O_O
If you are really sick I'd give a few days. I ran straight after the flu early this week and felt like death warmed up. Worse feeling than being ill and weak as a kitten.
My last run was Monday. I was postponing my runs, as I didn't feel good. After yesterday's fire alarm at work, I'm bad today. I hope to get better soon, as I implement all known healing strategies
Rest, sleep, drink and sweat the temperature out! Take it very gently once you feel ready to go out. I'm sending virtual good vibes for you to recover soon!
Boo hiss to the illness, take your rest and fingers crossed Monday will happen as you plan. Wedding Dress fitting - lovely - only 5 weeks to go how fab.
Thank you Bluebirdrunner I think the new name suits you better, and soon you can 'abandon' your previous name I thought it will be more difficult to remember, but it's not
