Mindful of the advice I received on Monday (after going off a bit fast), I set an Oldfloss-standard pace (slow and steady) for these two 10-minute runs. The first one felt like it was going on for ever, and my breathing was all over the place (not usually a problem). When Sarah said 1 minute to go I was mightily relieved!
So I was dreading the second run - however, it was easier than the first 10 minutes. And I ran it in a faster time. How weird. And when she said 1 minute to go, I speeded up. WHAT???
Every run is different! Thanks to everyone for helping me to get this far. π πββοΈ

All done! I am pleased that the intervals are over ...I really enjoyed the wk 5 run 3, 20 mins and I think that was to do with not stopping to walk....although was absolutely dreading it before I started - week 6 run 3 planned for Sunday ..... a bit nervous and a bit excited .....fingers crossed!
Iβm doing that one tonight! Eek! I often find the second runs are easier- think it takes me a while to find a comfortable pace and get in to the groove!
