Completed this run just now, back at my desk again after changing out of the wet clothes! I won’t complain about a bit of rain however! Run went well but just as I got to 25 minutes I got a pain at the top of my right thigh towards the groin.. quite sore but by the time I did the 5 minute cool down walk it was ok. Does anybody know what that might be and what I should do about it? I hope it doesn’t affect my other 2 runs this week! I wont get doing my second run until Thursday as I’m travelling for work on Wednesday, so maybe the extra days rest is good? 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️

More stretching needed. I had a similar pain previously before I started the programme when I was overdoing it too so maybe slow down a tad.
I think that bit is called the hip adducter. Feet together sat on the floor, thighs open is a good stretch.
Mine took a while to ease but I was still able to carry on.
I think the extra day of rest will help 👍😊

YouTube is a good tool for finding stretches to help the odd niggle, a video by athlean X helped me with a back pain I had in week 6
