Just started week 6. Finding it tough but sticking with it. I have been walking and going to the gym so exercise isn't New to me. I like a challenge especially at this time if tear. I do my running on the treadmill as I find outside just too tough

Hi I've just started week 7 and done all my runs on treadmill

Some days better than other days.

But feel better if I've eaten before and had drink or if short of time I just have Bannana and go

But make sure u not going to fast just slow jog if feel ok just quicken up last min.

Incline on 1

And 0 at last min if going bit quicker.

That helps me

Hope this helps.

Good that you have walking and gym banked already. That is going to help you.

Running is running, Outside or Inside. The programme applies.

Just many things to apply that will make it easier to build your running body. All the gems are on this forum.🌟

Treadmill is good, if it suits you at present, try and use one deg., so the transition to outside is more seamless. Not more difficult particularly if you have a park or forrest.🤔

I have posted a few things and replies on the forum that may help. The FAQPosts a must read🤔👏👏

It is your journey.👍

Your only young. Someone graduated 85 👍 🤔😂😂

Thanks for this advice. I run on a treadmill at the mo but hope to graduate to outside in the fullness of time.

Good to know other are doing C25K in the gym. Thought I was being a complete wimp but treadmill ensures I don’t cheat and keeps conditions the same. 👍

If that does it for you, that’s great. Its your journey.👍

Remember you are building a running body and more with the C25k programme with the objective of running at your pace for 30 minutes.

Keeping conditions the same is not a requirement of C25k,but if it helps keep you focused in a controlled constant environment, then great. 👍Obviously does not apply to outside elements, and mixing up exercise is also good for so many.I personally take that approach.👍

I always respect the repair time of the C25k programme and if I need more, I take it, then carry on where I left off.

No whimps on treadmills,🤔 everyone really including the elites to ultra marathon of world class running, for training purposes obviously. It is just another tool and resource in our journey of continuous improvement and enjoyment.

There is no Outdoor Camp versus Indoor Camp.🤔

Only the NHS One You/ HealthUnlocked C25k programme🌟 or Newbie Boot Camp as I call it.🤔😂😂

Your word cheat,🤔suggests you are a very disciplined and enthusiastic about C25k.👍👏👏

Our training is honour driven and for ourselves.

The self kidding does not last for long on this life changing programme.🤔🌟

Enjoy your journey and if and when you want to try Outdoors , go for it, everything on C25k and the FAQ Posts applies.

Thanks for your reply and enjoy your journey.👏👏

Take the advice of IannodaTruffe , there is a lot of useful advice.

You are doing well, but, if you could find a flat route, with a softer, more forgiving surface, you may found the going less tough. It is different and obviously there is no control of conditions..but you may find you begin to enjoy it, particularly with the longer runs.
