How many people like me, I never run, swam, surf, martial arts, hockey, but no straight running. I’m 63 1/2, never thought I would ever run for 20 mins, but I did this morning, the have proceeded to walk, most of the day.

Age is just a number, congratulations to you Rogie55 on completing the 20 minutes run of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃 😊

I have Michael Johnston as my coach. I just love ‘ you can do this’.

Well done and you are certainly not alone 😊 Have a look at the polls section to get a feel for trends, it’s very inclusive. I wish you the best and keep us posted on your journey.

Well done. I started this app just after my 64 birthday I had only ever run 100 &200 metres before so I think we are similar. Just about to start W9 tomorrow and then who knows what I will do. Good luck. And keep going.

I'm ten years older than you, did Couch a couple of times, and recently did a Half Marathon. Not a great athlete, but lucky to be comparatively healthy - but now you have started, keep it going. Your life will change for the better - never give up.
