I haven’t run since Tuesday and I’m waiting to do w8r2. Will I lose my stride and be unable to run 28 minutes? I was so proud of that milestone on Tuesday. Been out for a brisk walk but the roads and pavements are too snowed up for running.

I will give you the same reply as I have given April in her post. Many of us are in the same situation...

Just carry on, as and when you can... :)

Winter walking is a great thing to do too...:)

Lots of simple exercises to do if housebound, stretch and flex, strength and stamina exercise. yoga work outs, etc, etc.. all to keep you moving :)

You can plan new routes and maybe try a bit of running retail therapy too..

You will get there:) The snow and ice will melt:)

Many tell me that when they have had a break , few days, or a week, 🤔 they return fully turbo charged and buzzing.👍👏👏😂😂

No you'll still be able to do it. They say on here it takes 2 weeks for your fitness levels to drop so you've still got time 😊

Don’t worry Jude you will be fine. I had 5 days off last week due to illness and was fine going back to it . Let us know when you do your run !

I had a month of last year because of being overseas. I walked every day but no running.

Had one of the best runs ever when I got back :) Sometimes an "active break" seems to be a Tonic :)
