Just gone out for beginning of wk 6, feeling brave in the snow, but turned around less than 2 minutes into my warm up 'walk' which was more like a warm up skate. Took the decision it was too dangerous but am seriously gutted - I wish I had a running machine now 😢

Snow disruption
I did that run last evening, the snow in Cambridge is not too bad but it was -7. I was so up for it after running for 20mins on Monday that I did not want to miss it.
I did similar, except when I looked through the window I plumped for a yoga half hour on YouTube.
Yes skating not a great idea, especially when you’re not wearing skates...
It is a pain isn’t it - hopefully it will warm up soon
yeah, it's not worth the risk of falling and hurting myself
Does not count🙈😂😂.
How about running on the spot in the comfort of your home.
Who needs a treadmill.
Think about kissing the carpet, high knee intervals, slow intervals, quicker bursts, whatever you feel upto, do not go too hard at it.It must be good muscle memory training also , I think.🤔
Enjoy it.Think about your posture, your running action, what feels good ,head up , look out the window🤔,equipment does not have to be a constraint , actually for very many options. Just let your imagination run for you.
ice is 👍👏👏😂😂😂
Its not that I cant exercise, I have done a workout, it's just that I wanted to get out and do the run
I am supposed to be starting W6 tomorrow but the conditions are too extreme - forecast to snow heavily all night, and the wind is terrrible. It is frustrating isn't it?!
