Just gone out for beginning of wk 6, feeling brave in the snow, but turned around less than 2 minutes into my warm up 'walk' which was more like a warm up skate. Took the decision it was too dangerous but am seriously gutted - I wish I had a running machine now π’

Snow disruption
I did that run last evening, the snow in Cambridge is not too bad but it was -7. I was so up for it after running for 20mins on Monday that I did not want to miss it.
I did similar, except when I looked through the window I plumped for a yoga half hour on YouTube.
Yes skating not a great idea, especially when youβre not wearing skates...
It is a pain isnβt it - hopefully it will warm up soon
yeah, it's not worth the risk of falling and hurting myself
Does not countπππ.
How about running on the spot in the comfort of your home.
Who needs a treadmill.
Think about kissing the carpet, high knee intervals, slow intervals, quicker bursts, whatever you feel upto, do not go too hard at it.It must be good muscle memory training also , I think.π€
Enjoy it.Think about your posture, your running action, what feels good ,head up , look out the windowπ€,equipment does not have to be a constraint , actually for very many options. Just let your imagination run for you.
ice is ππππππ
Its not that I cant exercise, I have done a workout, it's just that I wanted to get out and do the run
I am supposed to be starting W6 tomorrow but the conditions are too extreme - forecast to snow heavily all night, and the wind is terrrible. It is frustrating isn't it?!
