OK so today should be week 3 run 2 but I've woke up with a stinking cold and it's snowing! Do I run anyway or leave it. Worried about missing the run.
Snow! : OK so today should be week 3 run 2 but I... - Couch to 5K
Snow!

I would say safety 1st. Bad enough walking whenit is snowing & slippery. Not so bad on fresh snow but otherwise a bit dodgy.
More experienced runners will no doubt answer but I would of thought that missing a couple of days would be no problem. Not really an alternative but will keep you mobile but on you tube there is a lady in America who will go through running indoors for up to 30 mins and even 5 k. True it is running on the spot but she does a warm up walk then a jog on the carpet for however long you want, She is talking to you all the time.
Just found out her name, type Phala B into you tube. As I say it will keep you moving and keep the fitness you have already acquired, alternative is a treadmill if you have access to one.

I would give it a miss: snow is risky, but most of all, if you have a bad cold, not worth worsening it and not being fit to run for the week... See how you feel tomorrow.

The saying goes "If it is above the neck you can run, if it is below the neck don't run. "
If you are feeling unwell- don't go, wait till you feel better. The running is still there when you are recovered. 😃
Thanks everyone. I'm giving it a miss today hopefully go tommorrow

A cold can be helped by getting out there as it encourages your nose to run like a tap. Better out than in I take a huge hankie and blow as necessary
It depends on how you feel. If you feel like poo don’t run 🙂
Hope you're feeling better today and can get out and about if you're up to it!
