Well those that know me on here, ive been rather quiet the last 3 weeks, i haven't been running but i have got stronger, leg problems seem to have finally sorted themselves out..... And not before time was starting to think that was it! I have been doing some hiit training under guidance from a fitness coach (online) and that has now come to an end and i felt like it was time to get my new running shoes back out as ive only worn them once since i got them. Ive been trying to eat healthy and getting lots more water in me than normal although this did go out the window at the weekend ππ₯ my freinds fault for having a birthday π socially distance of course. Anyway this morning i have started again with wk1 r1 and it went great, so not sure now should i just continue and work my way through the programme again or just do the fist run of each week till i get back to were i was? π€

Hooray π! Glad you are back (again) Shar and that you are getting the chance to put your new running shoes to good use π π.
Only you can judge where you need to be plan wise. As someone whoβs had my fair share of spells on the IC, I can only suggest you err on the side of caution and donβt do too much too soon.

I think the key is to listen to your body and do what feels ok.. not necessarily what feels good! But take it very slowly, and definitely stop at the first twinge of pain.. thatβs my plan from now on anyway.. look after your body as itβs the only one youβve got..π€
