Up early, gear on. Gremlins appear: blimey it looks cold out there - perhaps you'd better stay in. What makes you think you can run for 20 minutes....
New headphones - not sure how they work - better have a play with those for a bit. Go and have a search for my woolly hat as it's so cold. Not sure the headphones will fit under the hat. Did I leave the upstairs light on......STOP FAFFING!
Out the door into the freezing cold at 6.30am. Take a deep breath and see what Sarah has to say. She says I'm ready to run for 20 minutes!? AND SHE WAS RIGHT!!!
Stupid grin.....

Thank you! This programme is really amazing, but I wouldn't be doing it without all the advice and encouragement I've been getting. Really appreciate the good wishes! xxx
Fantastic job! Isn't it funny these people who we have never met, know our bodies and capabilities far better than we know ourselves! Good luck with week 6, I'm joining you!
I had my share of Gremlins too this morning and found it the most difficult to get out the house since W1R1! Mine was W5R2 today and went ok despite trying not to fall over in the light covering of snow and my phone dying half way through because it was too cold!! Had to make up the second half but probably ran further to ensure I did it π
Thank you! I probably looked like a crazy grinning person on my warm-down walk. However, I've learnt over the past 5 weeks not to worry a jot about how I look or what other people think. Big difference from when I started.
I know it really does work and who cares if it takes us 20 mins of diversionary tactics until we get out there, thatβs still 20 mins ahead of the π₯ π₯ s π€£
