W5R3 done!!

After a tough couple runs I was thinking this one would be much the same. It definitely wasn’t easy but it was better than the last couple and I ran for 20 minutes!! I actually had a bit of a hiccup as I’d dressed too warm for the weather (a cold morning but hot sun warming things up quickly), so I popped home to drop off my jacket and took a few minutes break, after having run 12 minutes. Determined to run 20 minutes straight, I went back out and restarted! I took it slow, concentrated on my breath and the path ahead when it got tough and just kept my legs moving. Woohoo!! I did it!!

Well done Amandana! Congratulations! Sounds like you completed much more than the W5R3 requires. Enjoy your success! I completed W5R3 yesterday and felt really chuffed. I am already looking forward to W6 tomorrow. All the best for your next run.

Thanks!! I am definitely feeling that extra chunk of run time - might need some yoga before bed this evening so I’m not rolling out of bed like the tin man in need of oil tomorrow morning.

Yoga is never wrong in my book and staves off the sore muscles big time! Enjoy!! X

Excellent attitude, well done.

W6R1 catches some unwary runners out, because it looks easy on paper........take it steady.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Thanks! Haven’t even looked at what’s next, this was the biggest hill on the horizon and now that I’m on it... some bigger ones ahead!
