Week 5 Run 3

I ran run number 2 on Tuesday and thought I had better give myself an extra day before attempting run 3. Started the run not really knowing if I could actually run 20 minutes without stopping. Don’t know what I was worried about in the end, as I actually managed 25 minutes. For the first time, I finished a run and was smiling and really happy. I think I might actually be catching the running bug. 😄

I did it, with a tiny walk mid way (2 or 3 mins!) and was a bit annoyed with myself. Then today I went back to 5 run 2 as was running with others who are behind me, and I just couldn’t do it!! Not even 8 minutes!! Feeling rubbish!

Looking forwards to having the positivity you have, well done!

Don't feel rubbish! You've practically done R3 already. Probably just had a couple of off days.

Have a rest and try again, that's what's worked for me.

I'll be running with you if you're doing W5R2 on Sunday. Best of luck. xxx

Well done, it is a milestone and you will be grinning for days.

Be careful about pushing beyond the programme..........

Keep running, keep smiling.
