I keep getting little health setbacks following my Christmas Present of sepsis, so a three week gap between Run 1 and Run 2 of Week One on the comeback trail. But this time was just a tadge easier, and the pesky inevitable headwind was a fraction kinder. So 2.77 miles in Laura's 31 and a half minutes alongside a radiant and glittering Irish Sea on Douglas Promenade. #AvoidingHills. Savouring the afterglow of exercise an hour later makes all the huffing, puffing and sweat worthwhile
Second outing of Week 1: I keep getting little... - Couch to 5K
Second outing of Week 1
It's always worth it afterwards! 👍😂
What a running location...
It takes me back to University days and heading from Liverpool to the TT races! One of my best friends was from Douglas...
Go you... well done... I think a pikkie would have been lovely too .. the view sounded splendid
I'll get a picture next time - are you a biker? (I have been all my life and ride most days - its compulsory over here.) What years were you at the TT? And almost bound to know your friend if they are of a certain age......
I wish I was a biker!!
No..just great fun going over from University and watching the action and hanging out there Happy days!
I am very, very old.. so it was between 1968 and 1972 My friend was a teacher in Douglas I think.
You are an inspiration. Still keeping going after setbacks. Brilliant!
