Following up from my last post!
Guess what?!
I did it! I got out there for my first run back from physical and mental illness after 3 months!!
Thank you so much for all the support on this forum and everyone sharing their stories. It encouraged me no end to get back out for my first run and it was AMAZING! I loved every minute and felt so good during and after. It was a beautiful sunny day and it felt so natural to start running again. I had a few aches and pains but that was during the walking part but it actually felt more comfortable running so I’m not sure if that is a good sign
So, back out there tomorrow! I think I’ll do the same routine as it’s a bank holiday. Get up early, coffee and wake up, do my stretches, set my kit out, give my Guinea pigs a treat then kit on warm up and out the door!
