Week 1 run 1 - repeated of course....but very happy :-)

Well last night I started my repeat of week 1 and I am so pleased that I did.....I managed all eight of the 1 minute runs!!! For me this is a massive achievement and yes I did give myself a pat on the back and I couldn't stop smiling :-)

The first time I went out on week 1 run 1 I only managed up to the 4th 1 minute run, run 2 the 6th 1 minute run and on run 3 the 7th 1 minute run.

I can't wait now to finish the rest of my runs for the week and hopefully be good enough to start week 2 :-)

Oh I love those pats on the back - cherish them now - I think they don't happen after week 1! Massive well done to you for persevering. I bet it will be plain sailing from now on! I think once you have done week 1 then you are at the same level as everyone else (no matter how unfit you were), so the podcasts will help you progress. Good job done and enjoy the rest of the podcasts! x

Perseverance has huge rewards. Well done. Just remember to go at your own pace and if the breathing is difficult, ease back on the pace. You will do it.

My advice would be to go as slow as you need to, it's more about getting through the runs that doing it at speed.
