The Last 20 minutes were pretty enjoyable and the run was very much a repeat of W6R3, with less toxicity! I ran a bit further too. I'm feeling satisfied not least as I had a long and disrupted journey home from work which meant I nearly missed my running slot. It was past 20:00 when I eventually started.
Pow! W7R1 completed!: The Last 20 minutes were... - Couch to 5K
Pow! W7R1 completed!
That's great! I too, hate it when circumstances try to ruin my run plans but it's all the sweeter when you can still get it done 👍😊
Your name says it all you nearly missed your running slot but you didn’t you still ran even though it must have been tempting to don the slippers instead. Well done with that attitude graduation is a shoo in
Well done you... despite the issues, you got out and you did it
Nice one...I finish work at 20:00 and often think it would be nice to go for a run,but I’m either knackered or concerned , I live in a rough area if I’m honest and I’m more likely to get mugged than finish the podcast. My local council have decided to turn off our street lights to save “light pollution “?!?!...( I won’t get all political don’t worry) so now I don’t fear the muggers, I just fear I’d be too puffed out to out run them !!🤣😂..maybe in the summer nights when it’s light later I’ll get a chance of an evening run ...good on ya 👍🏻
I actually like running in the cold (and the dark) but the common is reasonably well lit as it mostly borders an 'A' road and gives a level of privacy when I'm grimacing in the early stages and thinking of all the reasons why I mustn't give up! lol Hoping my progress continues as the evenings are getting lighter and I will feel more visible given I just can not see myself doing morning runs
Safety needs to be taken seriously of course, not least with earphones on! I am quite alert and become more so when I pass a quieter and less well lit area but cars still pass regularly enough. My husband insists he will be buying me an alarm but I'm not too fussed about that but I do tell him the route I am taking. I am quite spoilt in that I have a place to run which doesn't have too many obstacles and is pretty much on my door step.
