Boy oh boy that was tough at times. Then with 7 mins to go I found my stride. I could have kept going but finished off with several stretches then a hot hot bath. Legs feel heavy, but think that the 4 days off I had have really helped with the recent leg pain that I was experiencing last week.

Yes, I do agree that running continuously for 25 minutes is tough, especially for us new runners, but you ran it and well done, usually what they call the toxic 10, that's the ten minutes it takes for your muscles to get used to the run, it seems that for your run it was the toxic 18, so the last 7 minutes you found your stride, glad that your leg pain has gone. Onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 7.

I began C25K on Wednesday April 18 2018, ran the big run of week 5 run 3 on Monday May 21 and graduated 🎓 from C25K with week 9 run 3 on Monday June 18. After running 5/30 minute consolidation runs and just before I was going all out to run my 1st full 5K I got a slight hip injury which put me back about 6 weeks. 😊 I eventually ran🏃 my first full 5k in a time of 34.21, two weeks later I ran my PB of 32.25 but since that run my average time for a 5k has been around the 36/37 minutes time. 😊 🏃

I've not heard of the toxic 10 before, but that's definitely what I experienced doing this run tonight!
