W6r1 done and feeling good

After completing w5r3 over a week ago and mentally feeling greater I have suffered with a very sore knee (runners knee?) since so have had the week off running until this morning. I must be addicted as I was desperate to run for the last week which must be a positive sign but set off in trepidation. I went considerably slower than I have been before but managed the run easily. Breathing and recovery so much better. Ok I needed a knee support and voltarol after! but feel like I can build and push on again now. Lesson learnt, very slow and steady with the hope speed will come back.

Knee exercises.. and do not rely on the support or the pain relief... make sure the knee feels fine... tricky blighters these knees..but we 'Kneed' them :)

Slow and steady is just fine... especially for the longer runs... :) Well done you :)
