I got myself up to a very comfortable 5k runner but due to loss of motivation and illness in past few months, I've lost a hell of a lot of my previous ability. I've just signed up like the rest of you and look forward to regaining my love of running. But I have a little problem in that as I run I feel something ,be it cartledge, grissle or something popping in and out at the front left of my left ankle . Does anyone else have this or know what it is?

Welcome back & good for you getting back out ther, but maybe get ankle checked out, wear an ankle support, is trainers still ok? Or maybe take 2 days break in between runs & do some strengthening exercises. Goid luck though 😊
