I can't believe it. I completed wk5! 5 weeks ago I never would have believed it but I feel great. I've had mental health issues and wish I'd come to this earlier. Reading all your tips for week 5 has really helped as I went slowly but did it. I have always liked Jo Whiley but love her now as without her prompts not sure I would be moving onto week 6. A quick question...I run outside and today for first time my knees really hurt. Im still planning on just one rest day before wk6r1 but any advice gratefully received...onwards and upwards!

Congratulations on that milestone run.
Beware of W6R1, it catches some people out.
Now you are into longer runs you may find you need an extra day for legs to recover, but the body is a remarkable, adaptive thing and that may change too.
I am assuming that you are wearing good quality running shoes, preferably fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop. If not, that could be the cause of your aches.
Keep running, keep smiling.
