Which Week??

Hi all. I just signed up and am excited for the future weeks :D

I recently (3 weeks ago) joined my universities gym with the goal of becoming fitter and leading an active and healthier lifestyle.

Now, my other half is in the army and runs ALL the time and loves it. Another one of my goals is to be able to go for decent runs with him and not having to keeps stopping to catch my breath!

So I have been trying to tackle the treadmill with no idea what I am doing. I cant seem to run for more than 6 minutes without giving up.

Do you think I should start at week one or start a few weeks in?

Build yourself up nice and slowly, from the start, even if it seems very easy. It may not be the military way, but it is the safest way.

C25K is about gently increasing your stamina and strength and then you build speed on top of that base.

Enjoy your journey.

Week 1 - you’ll then build up in a controlled way, it’s a good discipline 😉
