Thanks Ted. I had a spring in my step tonight, and ran a completely new route. Only 4k to go........

A new route does you the world of good, my brother drummed that into me.

I’m doing 5k with a jogging group on Thurs. I won’t be going at my own pace, it’ll be very sedate but it’ll set me up for the 7K on Sunday 😊

Ah thats fantastic...well done...you did it & after a long day too...awesome stuff.High 5 😊

Excellent pace for 6Km. That’s very impressive. I bet if you slowed your pace back to a 7 min per 1Km pace you would have no problem doing 10K. Very well done again.

Thank you. Not sure about slowing down as I already feel like I'm going slowly. My pace varies wildly during my run, mainly due to hills, but I always seem to average around 5:45 per km. Last night the first km, which is all slightly downhill, was 5 minutes dead, whereas the 4th km which is back up the hill was nearer 6 mins.
