Well, 13 days since we last ran 12 of them I worked, 1 of them we shopped and yesterday we had boxing day with family which included lousy weather driving an hour and a half each way.....

So this morning the run came first, not early but first

The sky was flat grey and the wind non existent so we went along the seafront the sun was shining on Brighton and Eastbourne and the waves were crashing

two and a half k stop to take photos two and a half k back.....Willow got in the car and i carried on just a bit, until 6k showed up and then got in the car which was conveniently following me 😀

First 6k and under an hour, we had to stop to cross the road twice to get to the beach and back and i stopped to take photos

That was a good run

Reading everyone here’s progress and longer runs has spurred us on so a huge thank you to all y VRB’s

Sounds like a perfect run this morning. I think we appreciate them more after not being able to get out.

Apart from my first twinge in my right calf we are still buzzing thank you

Twinges are fine, just calf saying "hi, you remember me? Now stretch me out" 😉 at least that's how I interpreted a twinge after today's run.

Yes exactly, i’ve stretched well been for a walk with daughter and dog and now going to soak it in a very hot bath for a while before going out for dinner later, oh days off are busy,

Sounds very busy. I've tidied house, sorted out end of tenancy for one of our flats, shown people round our house which is for sale, done a 6k hill run posted on the bridge. I now have supermarket then shaking a bucket for charity at the local pantomime dressed as a cartoon character. May sit and do cross stitching this evening 😉

My heart always goes out to you when I read your posts and how busy you are. I really hope things ease off for you. Life is short and precious. Take care

Most the time I live my job and the people I work with but it is hard work and stressful so running in the fresh air with Willow balances life

Well done both! I’m so glad you finally got back out there!

What a great run for you both! ❤️

Sounds like you were ready for that one! I sometimes found it hard to fit runs in around work as I can work some odd hours, but I do make up for it when I go on my long runs 😊

Enjoy the rest of your afternoon xxx
