I think all of us will agree that week 5 is THAT week that seems a bit daunting & impossible!!!BUT...personally...i.chose NOT to think about it...at all...not one bit...& just do it!!!& it was fine 😊 this programme has been cleverly designed to get you there so my advice to anybody that asks is...don't think about it...just do it...& you will be fine 😊

Dont over think it, get your gear on and go.

This is an exiting week, each run gets you closer to the end of the programme than to the beginning...... closer to the podium.

Stay positive snd enjoy😀🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻

From here on in you will have more thinking time during the long runs.

It is your mental strength that will be tested more now as you learn what you can actually do. Don't let doubt enter you mind. Focus on the run and try to block out any thoughts about the time and trying to run down the clock

No, don’t do it. You need to be a seasoned runner to run consecutive days otherwise there is high risk of injury.

Stand in front of a mirror contorting and exercising your face as much as you can to prepare yourself for the inane grin you will be wearing for days after you complete the week.

I wrote this healthunlocked.com/couchto5... for people having doubts.

It is just another set of runs that the programme has prepared you for.

This is the first week where the runs vary so that’s interesting albeit a bit disconcerting when I first realised- just keep your pace comfortable (to you) and I tried to focus and what was around me and not think about the time - seemed to work in that I enjoyed that week 😆

Just go slowly and gently and enjoy it. The program works- I'm sure you will be discovering that - and you will be fine. 😀
