2 weeks after graduation.....

....and I'm still running with the app. 5 days gap between runs this time, which isn't ideal, but I've just not had time to go in the evenings. I knew I wouldn't get one n this evening either as I'll have a late dinner after taking my daughter to her swimming lessons, so I decided to go to the gym at work just now and do another 30 mins with Jo. I ran the full 30 mins at 10.5kph, so not too shabby, but I still don't like running on the treadmill. It is just soooo boring.......

Well done though...you are still challenging yourself & looking after yourself too 😊

Thanks, Claire. It didn't feel like I was looking after myself 20 minutes in!

No pain no gain 😉

That's great, well done fitting some running around busy life. Would audio books or radio 4 podcasts help with the dreadmill boredom? 😃

I think something to watch would help. As it's the company gym there's no TV. The treadmills look out onto an industrial estate, so the view is mainly vans and skips. Nice!

You definately need something nice to look at while you are running 😊

Not too nice, or you might fall over.

I ran in the sitting room yesterday (drizzle n’ fog - outside) watching Neighbours! I jogged on the spot on a fairly thick yoga mat. Not ideal - And Strava was deeply shocked saying I’d achieved nothing - but no dressing up required and, with catch-up TV, it could even save on some couch time 😉

I love this dedication to the cause!

I wonder what others have done beside the treadmill to keep up their runs in face of time/ weather / place restrictions
