Well, I did it! I'm no longer a Parkrun virgin :-D

Watergrove Parkrun certainly isn't the easiest, but it must be amongst the most beautiful. Lovely cool, clear morning and the autumn colours were stunning.

A tad disappointed with my time of 40.30 but I guess whacking a new PB next week shouldn't be too difficult

Lovely friendly bunch of folk too - and thanks to fellow C25K graduate Hussainbolts for all his advice and encouragement.

Right, I've earned one of these!!

Well done, you most definitely deserve cake! They look amazing. I was so nervous on my first Park Run, but as it's so friendly and great people I went back for more. Good luck on your next one :)

I must add, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that time, you don't need to feel disappointed with that.

Agreed ☺ Regularly running an undulating route will be fantastic for your long term stamina!!!

And it doesn't get anymore undulating than Watergrove park run, trust me.

Well done, you have done it - 5 Km is not easy to do. I graduated 4 weeks ago and did parkrun today and had to push myself to keep running. Speed isn't really what is most important though, it is about running time and distance and if you want to, you can knock time off the total next time for your own self improvement. Imagine before you started C25K, could u even imagine being able to run for so long. Brilliant effort 😉 Julie

Well done on your Parkrun. Nothing wrong with that time either, even better taking the hills into account.

Glad you enjoyed it xx

OMG look at those cakes! They look divine! You could put those at the finish post then everyone one would get a PB. Running for cake always works for me

Well done Sazzer!!!!
