Well I actually got through the 20 minute section without any trouble. I never would’ve thought it was possible when I was trying to run those first few minutes several weeks ago. Even had a little gas left in the tank and ran most of the five minute cooldown back to the car. What a great feeling. I never would’ve thought running would be this much fun. -1.7c and windy. I think it’s easier when you’re running to stay warm. Anyone with any reservations about this run should really just trust in the program. It really does get you ready for this.

woohoo! It does! 20 minutes in the bag. (Rein in that extra running though, you don't want to do yourself a mischief, less fun than it sounds!) Hope week 6 and beyond remain FUN :D Well done.

This is great to hear. I'm in the 'I can't believe I'll be able to do that' place. Well done on our achievement.

Brilliant glad you are doing well. I wouldn't advise you run the warm down though as this means you have just run for longer and not carried out a long enough warm down.

Well done Frogy my friend and them there legs is getting stronger, you hit the nail on the head with trust the program it really does work

That's terrific. But I wouldn't run on your warm down. The heart needs time to come down from the fast beat of running, and stopping without a warm down walk can leave you feeling faint and light headed. It happened to me after a treadmill run, when i stopped to check my run statistics on my watch.

Yup, or, my legs seized up once when I had to interrupt my cooldown due to a stubborn traffic crossing, for some reason I wasn't walking on the spot while waiting and before I knew it, yikes!

I’ll remember to walk the cool down in the future. I guess I was a little excited. I was a bit apprehensive about that run. It was a wonderful feeling to get past that one. It was much more pleasant than I expected. I’m ready to start week 6 tomorrow.
