Amazing - W5R3

Well, I totally surprised myself yesterday when I completed R3 of Week 5. Did I really run for 20 minutes?!!!! I never thought I would do this, I was very nervous knowing it was coming up but I think we underestimate our bodies. Don't get me wrong it wasn't easy, I hit a wall halfway through when there was an assent but I just slowed it right down, when Jo told me my 20-minute run was over I felt like I could run a bit more but stuck to the plan. This programme is fab and the fact that I can now exercise anywhere, at no cost, with the dog and actually enjoy it is amazing!!

Hey newcs. That’s great well done - as someone who is on week three I’m dreading the 20 minute run in week 5 but it’s great to see posts like this to see that it is not impossible :) xx

Wow, amazing, and great to hear you succeeded! I’m on W3 and loving this challenge. Good to hear success stories from the levels I’ll be on in a couple of weeks! 👍🏻😀

I take my dog too. I love having a companion. I couldn’t go with any of my kids or my husband as they’ll show me right up!

Well done for completing that run today as well - I also found it hard but felt I could do a bit more by the end. Are you thinking of running it again before W6R1 or are you just going to go for it?!

Well done for completing the run MadDave! I’m going to carry on with the programme, W6R1 has more walking again which is a relief but surprisingly disappointing too. I’m convinced there is a logic to the routine & it’s been working for me so onwards & upwards 🙂

Thanks Newcs- think I’ll do the same - the logic is w6r3 is a 25 minute run... 😱
