I’m feeling excited about doing the couch to 5k. I’ve met quite a few people who never thought they would be able to run but have achieved a lot through this app. I have done the first three sessions and although I’ve found it hard, I really want to keep going, and need to find ways to keep me motivated when the initial novelty wears off!! I won't say that I had never run in my life before doing C25K four years ago at age 67. But I will say that I had never been able to run when I was younger. I was in the Military for 20 years - and all I can remember about running was getting side stitches every time I tried it This was because "we run because we can - not because we know how to". I now know how to!!

Think you'll find Jan, that the mental boost you get from running will be enough to keep you motivated! That's certainly what I've found so far. Make sure you;re running nice and slow and take your rest days. happy running!
