Laura's week 9 music.... I missed the week 8 "hits"

So I thought I had got used to Laura's music after listening to it from week 1 through to week 8. In fact I really liked the week 8 music (yes, even "Julie" and the other one with the fab lyrics such as "I am a winner - I 'll eat you all for dinner"!!....) - lots of guitar which reminded me of my 13 yr old son and his hobby and a tempo that also matched my pace. I then went on to run 9- run 1 and sticking to the program, used the week 9 podcast. It started well with "Julie" but then went all techno on me. It just was not the same...no guitar, no naff lyrics... So, this morning on run 2, I returned to the week 8 podcast and singing along to the songs and trying to stop myself playing air guitar I ran like a demon (well it felt like it anyway - my mind kept saying "slow down you idiot" and legs were not listening whatsoever. After 28 min I heard Laura say "and slow down" and felt a wave of tiredness/smugness but I needed 2 more min running time as it was week 9. I switched to Song 2 from Blur which lasts for 2 min exactly and started legging it again...amazing what music can do. I wanted to hit the next crossroads so I let the iPOD play on - then came She Sells Sanctuary by The Cult and the legs were off again, full pelt - it felt amazing! So today I managed to run 4.42km in 32 min!!..and all thanks to Julie - I obviously have not had enough of Julie.

I always thought Julie came on far too early in wk9 - I'd have like to work towards it more.
