Morning all beautiful morning here in Wales ❄️☀️Great conditions for a winter run.
So following my calf Ping on Tuesday evening l have rested all week just done some gentle stretches. Calf feeling pain free today and able to go up and down stairs freely l decided l would go for a good brisk walk to see how things are and needed to clear my head.
All good no pain even did a bit of gentle intervals on the flats all good so delighted.
Had put Strava on when l left to make sure l covered approx 5k. On my return checked it........
So last Sunday RUN 5k pace 10.8 50 mins Cals burnt 560.
Today WALK 5k pace 9.7 !! 45 mins !!! Cals burn 569 !!!!
What’s that all about then?
So a mixture of walking and running it is then anyone else had this experience l found it most amusing!! 😀
Have a good day and enjoy the sunshine because it’s not going to last 😏☀️☀️🏃♀️

Morning WTR, firstly I’d like to ask ‘What Sun ‘!? 😜
It’s not unusual to do a faster Run/Walk than a continuous run.....Jeff Galloways ‘Run Walk Run Method’ is testament to that. You must’ve covered more distance running than walking though?
