The advice given in the C25K app and podcasts regarding stitch is to slow down and breathe deeply......it has worked for me.

If you are wanting to ask advice of the community, the best way is to create a new post, rather than reply to an existing post.

Sorry if I’m being dense but I’m looking for an article about shin splints which I read about 8 months ago. Thought it would be the link above but that goes to a recent post. Could you let me know where to look?

Individuals may post links to articles but they aren't necessarily stored on this site.

This might help runnersworld.com/shin-splints/

Would you be able to post the link to knee strengthening exercises, please. I saw a reference to it (By you, I think) when searching “sore knees” but when I went looking for it again, couldn’t find the post. Much appreciated. Thanks.

I really want to start this program and I feel like the app would really help with staying motivated and making things easier, but unfortunately it is not available in my country. Can anyone tell me if or when the app will become available outside of the UK?

The app is unlikely to become available overseas....... although there are technical ways around this, depending how techie you are.

There are many other C25K apps and most use the same or very similar run timetables. You would be welcome on this forum regardless of which app you use.

In this guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you will find a link to C25K podcasts, which were the way the plan was delivered prior to the app being released. To the best of my knowledge there is no limitation on the downloading of these podcasts.

I hope you can find a way through this. We have always had new runners on this forum from around the globe, so it is possible.

Enjoy your journey.
