WK 5 R3 and it’s been emotional

This last run was something I never thought I’d get to again, to cut a long story short I’ve had 11 cardiac stents, a number of heart attacks including arrests and a quad CABG. I was first diagnosed in my late 30 and my career was over in an instant. It’s been a long trial over many years but at last I can run again. So emotional was I that I broke down and cried when I got home. Thank you all on here because reading your posts has been incredibly motivating. Happy Solstice to you all. I know it’s a day late sorry.

What an amazing story! You’ve come such a long way, understandable that you were emotional. I think you’ll find you’re the one motivating and inspiring others, me included 🙂

Wow - what a motivational and inspiring post. I get why you chose that nickname Keep-it-ticking

As IannodaTruffe says keep it slow and steady, but I'm sure you know your body and can judge how not to overdo it.

Merry Christmas 8-)

Blimey, no wonder you broke down, you've certainly been through it and then some. I am choked up just reading this! You absolutely are amazing and proving to us all that anything is possible.

Good luck with the rest of your journey.
