Finished wk4. Nervous for w5

I’ve finished wk 4 and have to admit it was pretty tough for me but achievable. I’m nervous going forward as feel it’s beginning to get tough and worried that I won’t be able to make it. I just don’t want to fail! Before taking up the c25k I was quite an inactive person so sometimes feel that I’ll never be able to get to the end of the programme!

I have just started week 5 & i felt the same as you.i.completed run 1 on wednesday with a cold on top.it was a struggle but i still.did it.at this point in time i have no idea how run 2 is going to.go...i reckon the best thing to do.is not think about it too much & just go for it & suprise yourself 😊

You can only fail if you give up. Some people take months to work through the plan, you are doing great.

This might help healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

You can do this and W5 is when you have to build the self belief.

Thank you. Every time I finish a run I shed a tear as I’m so overcome with relief that I’ve done it. I keep telling my self to just get through the run on the day and not worry about what’s coming next otherwise I’ll get completely overwhelmed!

Don't fear it. It is a training plan, not The Spanish Inquisition!

A positive attitude really does make the world of difference.

You will do it. 5/3 is like magic. Somehow you do it and feel as if you are floating along. Dont worry. Most people seem to fear that 20 minute run and then are jubilant and amazed when they do it. Concentrate on the two preceding runs. They prepare you for the third.

You will! Im one run away frpm graduating, but had the same nerves as you. Look at the old posts of anyone on here that has a graduate badge. They had the same fears, and they achieved it as will you. Trust the programme
