W5 bit concerned....

About to start week 5, just looked at what it entails. I've liked doing 3 runs the same as I do see route and feel like I'm improving. Not sure about 3 different runs, R3 looks really tough. Wondering if I should just do week 4 again for ease. I know I can do them with not too much effort.

Brisk walking and conversational pace running are almost exactly the same effort, and they both raise the heart rate... so if you add up all the cardio of the workouts, you’ll see that run 3 is actually, as far as your body is concerned, easier than run 2. It’s a mental challenge and you can do it. Repeating week 4 won’t remove the mental aspect of it.

Well done on week 4.

You could do W4 again if it makes you feel better, but it is the next run you have to beat, not the last one.

Read this and it may put it all in perspective healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

You can do this.

I loved week 5, it's fun to do a different run each time. You definitely are ready, go for it!

Tippyrunn if you did week 4 ok then you will be absolutely fine with week 5 x

Just set yourself up for success when you do r3. I made sure I could do my favourite run (mostly downhill lol) and it was easier than the gremlins were telling me!

You've got this. Believe in you 🤗
