Suffering from an iffy knee I woke this morning and decided not to run so laid in bed for 30mins and then said "sod it".

Strapped the knee up and did the run with the intention that if it hurt I would stop. It didn't and I completed it.

Late for work, but nevermind.

Let's see how the knee recovers, feels ok at the moment 2 hours later.

If your knee feels "iffy" then it's clearly trying to tell you something. You've maybe got away with it but why risk injury for the sake of another day/few days? I say this simply because I've done it myself and believe me it isn't worth the risk. Being on the IC is crap.

Did you read mrrun 's post?

Hello.

The knee is quite an old thing which ebbs and flows and I can manage. Totally understand about taking an extra day or two (in fact I did just that before this morning).

Feels ok still - better than it did yesterday, so maybe I got away with it.

Not read mrrun's post before, but apart from being rushed to hospital then the lifestyles sort of matched.
